My VISA card is in NOK. ESU pay dialogue uses SEK. The local BankId cannot handle any othe currency than the card's.

    Hi @Christer Gustafsson ,

Because your BankId only supports transactions in the card’s native currency, the authorization fails when the payment request is in SEK.

    Recommended next steps:

    1. Try using a card issued in SEK or another card that supports multi‑currency transactions.
    2. Alternatively, check with your bank if they can enable cross‑currency authorization for your VISA card.
    3. If neither option is possible, we recommend contacting Microsoft Support directly to request an alternative payment method for ESU in NOK.

    Hope this helps!

    Best regards,

    Nanta

    Hi,

May I know if the country is correctly set in Settings > Time and Language > Region?

Also, the ESU is free of cost for European Areas.

You can also create a Microsoft account, log in to it, and then switch back to a local account. It is free of cost too.
