Stopping data information from printing on my print documents

How do I stop the information page to stop showing up on all my printed documents: it is very annoying

Hi @Hugh Davis, 

If an extra information page is being printed at the end of every Word document, it is often because the "Print document properties" option has been enabled. 

As the AI recommended please try the following: 

  1. Open Word. 
  2. Go to File > Options. 
  3. Select Display. 
  4. Under Printing options, look for Print document properties.  User's image
  5. Uncheck this option. 
  6. Click OK.  

After disabling it, print a document again and check whether the extra information page is gone. 

If that is not the issue, could you share a screenshot (or describe what appears on the information page)? For example, does it contain: 

  • Document properties (author, file name, creation date, etc.)? 
  • Comments or tracked changes? 
  • A cover page or printer-generated page? 

That will help narrow down the cause.

    In Word, that extra page is usually the document properties page being printed.

    Turn it off:

    1. Open Word.
    2. Select File > Options.
    3. Select Display.
    4. Under Printing options, clear Print document properties.
    5. Select OK.

    If only the information page prints and not the document, open File > Print and make sure Document is selected.
