How can I create a survey form for my website using Microsoft Office tools?

Hi, I am totally new in online world.

I want to create a survey form on my website https://ranksto.com/ and collect responses from visitors.

Can I attach an Excel spreadsheet or another Microsoft Office file to the website for this purpose, or would Microsoft Forms be a better option?

I would appreciate any recommendations or best practices.

Microsoft Forms would be the better option. I would not use an Excel file itself as the survey, because Forms is designed to collect responses from website visitors and keeps the response data organized.

Create the survey at https://forms.office.com, then select Collect responses. For a public website, choose “Anyone can respond,” then select Embed > Copy and paste the provided embed code into your website. Microsoft confirms that Forms can be embedded directly into a webpage.

You can later open the Responses section and select Open results in Excel to analyze the collected answers.

If your website editor does not allow embedded code, simply add the Microsoft Forms survey link as a button or link on the page instead.

Select Preview to test how the survey looks on computer or mobile.
