Use this checklist first:
- Confirm the credential is actually earned by checking the certification or exam details pages.
- Sign in to the correct Microsoft Learn profile. If multiple Learn profiles exist under different login accounts, the certification may be attached to a different profile.
- Try signing in with any other login accounts that may have been used to register for the exam, including a personal Microsoft account or a work or school account.
- If the congratulations email was received, note that the contact email in the Learn profile is not necessarily the same as the login account used to sign in. The certification may exist under another profile.
- If the exam was completed recently, allow 24–48 hours for results and certification to appear.
- If two Learn profiles exist, a profile merge may be possible if only one profile contains a personal Microsoft login account. Merging combines credentials, transcripts, and learning progress into one profile. This action cannot be undone.
- If the certification is still missing, contact Microsoft Credentials Support.
Important limits:
- Exams and certifications earned through Certiport are not currently reflected in the Microsoft Learn profile.
- Microsoft Credentials Support cannot recover a lost personal Microsoft account or transfer/restore the contents of a Learn profile that cannot be accessed.
