Hello Microsoft Community,

I am trying to activate my Azure for Students subscription, but the activation does not complete successfully.

I am a student and I am using my school email address to verify my student status. When I go through the Azure for Students activation process, I receive the following issue:

Issue / error message:

What I expected:

I expected Azure for Students to activate successfully so I can access the student Azure subscription and the included student credit.

What happened instead:

The activation failed / the subscription was not created / I was redirected back to the same page / I was asked for information I was not expecting.

Steps I already tried:

  1. Signed in with my school email account.
  2. Tried the Azure for Students activation page again.
  3. Cleared browser cache or tried a private/incognito browser window.
  4. Tried a different browser.
  5. Confirmed that I am using my current student email address.
  6. Checked whether I already had an Azure for Students subscription on another account.

Questions:

  1. How can I confirm whether my student verification was successful?
  2. How can I fix the Azure for Students activation failure?
  3. If my school email is not accepted, what is the correct way to verify my student eligibility?
  4. Can Microsoft check whether my account already has an Azure for Students subscription associated with it?

Please let me know what additional non-sensitive information I should provide.
