Lists in To DO just deleated with no reason

2026-08-12T16:11:55.3233333+00:00

I didn't use To Do for about 3 days, and when I opened it, most of my lists were just deleted. Only one list with nothing useful remained, as well as 2 groups, but the them were empty. I checked the browser version, Android version, and PC version. I also checked Outlook, and in the Deleted Items folder, I found only a couple of tasks that I had manually deleted about 2 weeks ago. Why did all my lists get deleted and how can I return them?
P.S. I also tried clearing the browser cache and sync To Do with my phone and PC.

    Hi Андрей Савицкий

I understand how serious this is, especially with two years of tasks involved. Clearing a browser cache normally affects locally stored browser data, but because the lists are also missing on the web and other devices, the change appears to have synchronized across the account.

Please open Outlook using the same account as To Do, check Deleted Items for folders matching the missing list names, and move any matching folder to Tasks. This is Microsoft’s documented method for restoring a deleted To Do list: Restore a deleted To Do list

If nothing is shown, check Recover items deleted from this folder in Outlook as a final recovery attempt. If the data is absent there as well, forum moderators do not have access to the account’s back-end storage and cannot restore it directly. Please report the issue through To Do > Settings > Help & feedback, including the approximate deletion time and the devices affected.

I hope this helps, hope you have a good day
