Purview data governance domains

Hi experts, we are implementing Azure Purview as a Greenfield project, now we are creating data governance domains

, we have defined initial domain structure with hierarchy, but the defined structure might change as per business stakeholders. But as per my understanding once it is published (it is draft state now) and after cataloging and data scan we would not be able to change the hierarchical structure. My question since we could not be able to change it in the azure purview portal, is there any workaround such as using API to change the structure or any feasible way. I will appreciate your help.
