Microsoft Access 2000 problem started yesterday 8/11/26. I can see header in Report View but have disappeared in Print View. Does anyone know how to restore/fix.

Hi,

Microsoft security updates in August caused this kind of problems in newer versions of Access. You can find details in our documenting AFo article. There (and here in a note by MS) you can read that they have been fixed (only) for the newest Office versions/channels.

So far, I have seen problem reports down to Access 2016, which is out of support too, albeit not as long as Access 2000. In the Status section of our article you can find a potential workaround if you have OLE objects or similar in the report. You can also find the info which security updates have to be removed to get rid of the problems with Access 2016 MSI. You could check if these updates are present on your system.

edit: Access 2000 didn't have the Report view yet, that was introduced with Access 2007. -->?

Based on your sharing, if the issue just started yesterday, August 11, and is related to Print View, you're not alone, since there has been many users have reported similar behavior to what you are experiencing with Print View in Microsoft Access Build 16.0.20326.20034. This issue is likely a regression after an update, but as of now there is no official announcement or article providing the resolution or information about the date of mediation plan.

That said, I strongly recommend that you report this to Microsoft directly in Access > Help > Feedback > Report a problem. This ensures your voice reaches the development team so they will acknowledge and review the behavior, which can help prioritize a fix in an upcoming release. In your feedback, please describe the situation and report the version + build of Access on the impacted computer.
