I have marked 2 data breaches done and they still appear

I have two data breaches in Microsoft Defender that have been marked as done for over a year. I have marked them as done, and they will not go away. Also, because I get free credit monitoring from other sources, Defender is not finding any new breaches that Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax monitoring have found.

I am sure that since I can't acknowledge the two breaches, it has quit looking for any more

    Hello Scott Moore

Marking a breach as Done does not stop Microsoft Defender from monitoring for new breaches. The previous breaches may remain visible as part of your alert history rather than disappearing completely.

Please make sure Microsoft Defender is fully updated, then sign out and sign back in to refresh the dashboard. You can also confirm that the email addresses and other identity details you want monitored are still listed in the identity monitoring section.

Since the two breaches have remained unchanged for over a year and you are concerned about missing newer alerts, if you need further insight, you can contact Microsoft Support for assistance:

    3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
    4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
    5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

I hope you can get this issue resolve, have a nice day.
