a random folder that is empty labled MicrosoftWindows.Client.CBS_cw5n1h2txyewy!InputApp was created in my downloads without downloading anything

it also says it has a file that exists in it but i cant see it

You can safely ignore or delete that folder! It is a harmless bug in Windows 11.

That long name (MicrosoftWindows.Client.CBS) belongs to the Windows Feature Experience Pack, and the InputApp part is related to Windows text entry tools, like the emoji panel, clipboard history, or touch keyboard.

Sometimes, after a background update or a minor system glitch, Windows tries to create a quick temporary file and accidentally dumps that folder into your Downloads directory instead of the hidden system temp folder. The "invisible file" inside is just a system log or process lock file marked as hidden.

Try deleting the folder right away. It will not hurt your system.

If Windows says the file is in use, simply restart (not shutdown) your PC to close whatever process is holding onto it, and then delete the folder after you log back in.
