I had submitted correct information in reference to security access. Your system did not infuse with access criteria. When asking me for an access code that was sent to a number I had changed for well over two years ago is creating time a waste of time for me for gaining access.

This information is concerning my access. Also, I am not a male, please correct this as I was assured it would have been some time ago.

Regards,

Kathleen Maria Gibson

If the verification code is still being sent to an old phone number or email address, the supported path is to replace the security info.

    1. Start signing in to the Microsoft account.
    2. At the verification prompt, select I don't have any of these.
    3. Follow the prompts to replace the old security information.
    4. If the password is known and at least one current verification method still works, sign in to Advanced security options, choose Add a new way to sign in or verify, confirm it with the code sent there, then remove the outdated phone number or email.

    Important details:

    • If access to all existing security info is lost, replacing it triggers a 30-day wait before sign-in is restored.
    • If all security info is removed and replaced at the same time, the account can be put into a restricted state for 30 days.
    • Microsoft support agents cannot send verification codes or manually change account details in this scenario.
    • If the password is not known and none of the security methods are accessible, use the account recovery form.

For the profile data issue mentioned, the available guidance here only covers updating sign-in aliases, phone numbers, and security verification methods. It does not provide a supported process for correcting gender/profile designation.
