Hi
I was thinking of implementing the Security baseline assessment with CIS Benchmarks. While setting up, I noticed the latest version of CIS Benchmarks for Windows Server offered in Microsoft Defender Cloud are:
CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Benchmark v2.0.0
CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Benchmark v2.0.0
CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Benchmark v2.0.0
As of now the Official CIS Security website offers:
CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Benchmark v4.0.0
CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Benchmark v5.0.0
CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Benchmark v5.1.0
CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2025 Benchmark v2.0.0
Notice Windows Server 2025 is even missing in Microsoft Defender Cloud.
Is there any way I as a user can update this or is this completely managed by Microsoft?
