Hi everyone,

I received a quota increase approval email for Claude Opus 5, but in Azure AI Foundry the quota/pool is still showing 0, so I cannot deploy the model.

Details:

  • Subscription ID: 0d7ababd-2f04-4332-ab2e-0cce72dfa9ce
  • Application / Request ID: 16009
  • Request type: Data Zone Standard
  • Model in approval email: claude-opus-5.Azure
  • Model shown in Foundry: Claude Opus 5
  • Approved amount in email: 100 quota (100000 TPM and 100 RPM)
  • Approval date: August 10, 2026
  • Current Foundry status: Data Zone Standard Pool = 0
  • I have not deployed the model yet because available quota is 0

What I already checked:

  1. Logged into the correct Microsoft account
  2. Correct subscription is selected
  3. Foundry project/resource in East US
  4. Model appears as Claude Opus 5
  5. Data Zone Standard Pool still shows 0

Questions:

  1. After approval, how long does it usually take for Data Zone Standard Pool to update in Foundry?
  2. Is claude-opus-5.Azure the same as Claude Opus 5 in the portal?
  3. Can approval be applied to the wrong pool/type (Global vs Data Zone)?
  4. Is there any self-service way to refresh/sync approved quota without paid support?
  5. Has anyone else seen an approval email success but Foundry still showing 0?

Any guidance would be appreciated. I can share screenshots of the approval email and quota page (with personal info blurred) if needed.

Thanks.
