Hello,

I have a problem with Autopilotv2. Everything worked fine up until few weeks ago when Autopilot stopped adding prepared devices to the device group specified in Device Preparation Policy. I have reviewed diagnostics logs from affected endpoints, but deployment status is showing Success. No traces of any problem. In Intune logs, deployment is also completed with a Success. I have checked audit logs to see if there is a failed attempt to add device to the group (to rule out permissions issue), but there isn't any. I have created completely new device preparation policy and configured new device group, but it's same. In both groups, owner is configured as f1346770-5b25-470b-88bd-d5744ab7952c.

Also, I have just noticed in Monitoring logs, even though assignment have been removed from the old Device Preparation Policy and priority changed to lower than the new policy, when I start autopilot on my test device, it's getting old deployment policy assigned. Tried it twice and still getting old policy. I'm confused.

I’ve personally not experienced the issue in any of the tenants I am working on, but there maybe an ongoing issue right now. Maybe it will be worthwhile opening a case with Microsoft support. https://www.reddit.com/r/Intune/comments/1vh3moe/autopilot_device_preparation_wont_add_device_to/

Oh man, thanks for that. I did a quick google but couldn't find anything and was suspecting they messed something up.
