If the missing password is affecting both Edge on the PC and the phone, the most likely issue is that Edge sync is not currently bringing password data down to the signed-in profile.
Try this in Edge on the device where the password should appear:
- Open Edge.
- Select Settings and more > Settings > Profiles > Sync.
- Make sure sync is enabled and that Passwords is turned on.
- Then go to Profiles > Passwords and check whether the password appears there.
Also verify that Edge is signed in with the same Microsoft account on all affected devices. Passwords and addresses are synced to the Microsoft account and remain accessible through Microsoft Edge.
If the password was originally stored through Microsoft Authenticator autofill, that data is no longer accessed from Authenticator. Passwords and addresses were moved to Microsoft Edge, while payment information stored in Authenticator was deleted and is no longer recoverable.
On mobile, open Edge and go to Settings > Passwords to check whether the password is present.
If autofill is needed on the phone:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings > General > Autofill & Passwords > select Edge under Autofill from.
- Android: device Settings > search Autofill > Preferred service > choose Edge.
If Edge shows the profile as signed in but passwords still do not sync, this matches a documented Edge sign-in/sync symptom.
