How do I create a Word booklet?

I have a booklet in Publisher that I now must move to Word. I need a list of step by step instructions to do so. Co-Pilot is worthless after setting up the first page.

This is unacceptable of Microsoft to remove an app that works so well and expect it to be redone in WORD or PowerPoint.

Word is a word processor, not a page layout program. It works differently than Publisher. You would find it easier to make a transition to a true page layout program like Adobe InDesign, Quark XPress or Scribus.

Word pages only appear after content fills them, or after you insert a Page Break.

Thank you. This is what I was looking for. Word is not an acceptable replacement for Publisher so I will need to purchase and then learn another software outside of Microsoft.

An odd-page section break would likely do what you need for the blank page. The blank page will only show up when you print, though, not while editing.

You can certainly print your document as a booklet from Word, using the "Book fold" option. You can test the Microsoft Print to PDF virtual printer (PDF converter) to get a clear picture of the output. (The print preview in Word does not show the booklet properly.)

The quality of the end result will depend on how the content is currently formatted. See John's reply for a permanent alternative.
