ACTIVATION CODE ERROR

Just to clarify, are you trying to activate Windows on the new laptop, or are you trying to download and activate Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365?

If you mean Windows:

1. Was Windows originally purchased separately from Microsoft or a retailer, or did it come preinstalled on your old computer?
2. Do you still have access to the old computer?
3. What activation error or code are you getting on the new laptop?

This matters because some Windows licenses use a digital license instead of a product key, and a license that came preinstalled on an old PC may not be transferable to another computer.
