    Hello Taneka Fadlallah,

The correct setting depends on which voice bar you are seeing.

    • For the small Windows + H Voice Typing bar, open its Settings gear, switch off Voice typing launcher, then press Windows + H to dismiss it.
    • For the older Windows Speech Recognition bar, say“Minimize speech recognition” or close it from the bar itself.

Turning off the launcher prevents the Voice Typing bar from appearing automatically when you select a text box.

On Windows 10, the voice typing bar is the dictation toolbar. To remove it from the screen:

    1. Click in a text field if dictation is active.
    2. Say "Stop dictation" to stop it, or click the microphone button on the toolbar.
    3. If it was opened with the keyboard shortcut, press Windows logo key + H only when needed.

If the bar keeps appearing unexpectedly, check whether the Windows logo key + H shortcut is being triggered accidentally from the keyboard.
