I cannot delete one note book.

I cannot delete a one note book. I have gone to onedrive.live webpage and found the book I want to delete. Right click menu only has Open and Share as options; same for the "..." menu. My recycling bin is empty. I have used half of my current storage. I have deleted all sections from the notebook. I have logged out and logged back in with no results.

Dear PM,

I understand the notebook is still listed in OneDrive, but its menu only shows Open and Share. This usually means it is being viewed from Recent or Shared, rather than its actual folder.

Please try the following:

Open OneDrive and select My files > Documents.
Open the Notebooks or OneNote Notebooks folder.
Select the circle beside the notebook, then choose Delete from the top toolbar. Do not open the notebook first.
In the OneNote desktop app, right-click the notebook and select Close This Notebook so it no longer appears in the notebook list.

If the notebook is under Shared and you are not its owner, you cannot delete the original. You can only remove it from your shared list or ask the owner to delete it.

Please note that deleting an entire notebook is permanent, so save anything you may still need first.
