Groupme app doesn’t send me a verification code though I entered the correct phone number. What do I do?

The two-factor authentication 6-digit code won't send to the phone number ending in 26. We've tried on the phone and the web browser and neither is working. Please help!

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Do you have a backup code instead? (as shown in the screenshot)

If "yes", you can use the backup code and see whether you can sign in to your GroupMe account successfully.

Or, try connecting your device to another Wi-Fi network, such as a mobile hotspot, and see whether you receive the verification code.

Also, make sure your phone isn’t blocking texts from unknown numbers.

Go to your phone’s message settings and check the blocked senders list. If Microsoft’s number is on the list, remove it and try requesting the verification code again.
