A web-based tool in Microsoft 365 that enables users to quickly create surveys, quizzes, polls, and feedback forms.
Dear @Jayanti Jha,
Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!
Based on your description, I understand that some respondents in your Microsoft Forms Quiz are receiving 0 points despite selecting the correct answer, while other respondents who selected the same answer receive full marks. The quiz is configured correctly with auto-grading enabled, and the issue appears to occur inconsistently for only a subset of submissions.
To better understand the behavior and identify any patterns, could you please help us with the following information:
- Does the issue occur on a single question only, or have you observed it on multiple questions within the quiz?
- Approximately how many respondents were affected compared to the total number of submissions received?
- Were the affected respondents using similar browsers, devices, or operating systems?
- Can you share screenshots of:
- The question configuration showing the correct answer selected
- An example response where the respondent selected the correct answer but received 0 points
- Does the issue persist if the same question is tested in a newly created quiz?
- When reviewing the exported Excel results, does the captured answer for affected respondents exactly match the configured correct answer?
Please kindly check the above question and try on your end and let me know is the issue persists.
I appreciate your patience and understand the importance of ensuring accurate scoring for student assessments.
When I have the additional information above, I can continue investigating potential causes and determine whether this aligns with any known Microsoft Forms behavior.
Thank you for your time and understanding!
