I am trying to get an app on my daughter's phone. It is sending it for Her messages as if it is coming as a text from me. Somehow it has switched things around. How do I fix it

    Hello MaryChris Stephenson

It sounds like the app request may be coming through Apple’s Ask to Buy feature in Messages rather than through Microsoft Family Safety.

Microsoft purchase requests normally appear as a phone notification and in the Family Safety notification feed.

I need you to confirm some question first:

    • Is she downloading the app from the Apple App Store or Microsoft Store?
    • Does the request appear in Apple Messages/iMessage or in the Family Safety app?
    • Is your Apple ID and your daughter’s Apple ID different under Settings > Family?

Once confirmed, we can determine whether the Apple Family Sharing accounts are reversed or whether the Microsoft family roles need correcting.

Feel free reply back to this post and update me on this issue, I'll be happy to help.
