Microsoft Word for my iPad

I have Microsoft word on my iPad Pro, it’s not an old model or old software so it should work. It runs well I can used it type save my documents, etc… but when I run spell check it freezes up. I get suggestions bubble I click in it but it stay on the middle of the page, I can’t ignore it or accept the corrections. So I have to either force shut the program or simply hit save. It’s really annoying to exit the program every five seconds.

    May I ask if the MS Word app or Microsoft 365 app is currently up-to-date? If not, please update it and see if the issue persists.

    If the issue persists, please clear the cache and data of the MS Word app or Microsoft 365 app. Restart your device and try again.

    If nothing works, please uninstall the app, then restart your device. Install the app again.
