There is NOT another program that I could use to make my pedigrees. I can get 6 generations of my Afghan Hounds on 8.5X11", and with little PHOTOS of the dogs, and it's LEGIBLE. I've never yet found ANY other program that can do that. And I have a LOT of van art, and other art, there is NOT ANY Other program that will do the stuff Iv'e done with Publisher for 30 years. I DO NOT CARE if it is no longer supported, but I WANT TO KEEP IT. I am TOO OLD to convert everything, I wouldn't even live long enough to do it, if I tried. And since at 75 I don't know how many years I still have (or maybe days or weeks?? months???) I don't want to spend whatever time I have left converting thousands of files!!! I am thinking to trying to find a LAWYER. Killing Publisher KILLS 30 YEARS OF MY WORK. I am SO SORRY RIGHT NOW I EVER used MS for ANYTHING. Built on a foundation of SAND, I guess. Either fix it so I can keep using Publisher (I DO NOT CARE IF YOU DON"T SUPPORT IT), or I will start looking for legal assistance, and if others have this problem as I do, maybe we can do a class action. I actually do have a CS degree, was a programmer at IBM about 40 years ago. Now sorry I didn't just write my own program(s), over years, have paid for publisher on multiple computers.

I would like to be able to attach one of my pedigrees here that I've been doing with MS Pub for about 30 years. Here is 1 [MOD removed link]. I do these with MS Pub. I have found NOTHING else in all these years that even came CLOSE to being able to get 6 generations on ONE piece of paper, and it all be LEGIBLE. I've produced dozens of Champion Afghan Hounds, also ARTCARS, won 1st place trophy at Houston Art Car Parade in 2015 [MOD removed link]. I am 75 years old, there's NOT A CHANCE I will live long enough to convert my hundreds (maybe thousands, haven't counted) of files, EVEN IF I want to spend the REST OF MY LIFE DOING IT. Microsoft/Bill Gates is ROBBING ME OF 30 YEARS OF MY WORK.

If you have an older, perpetual license of Office which includes Publisher, you can continue using the program, even after October 2026. Office Professional 2021 would be one example of such a license.
Note that if you purchase Office Professional 2021 privately, be very careful so that you get a valid license.
