How to reactivate my license for Microsoft 365 on a MAC?

I have a license for microsoft office but it has stopped working and asking me to reactivate but when I do it says it can't find my license for this application. How to resolve this issue on a Mac.

There are a couple of widely reported problems with the Office apps on an Apple Mac at the moment due to the July 13 update

Log into your Microsoft account on this link:

https://account.microsoft.com/services/

What version of Microsoft Office do you have, is that a subscription to Microsoft 365 or a standalone version of Office like Office 2019, 2021 or 2024.

At the top left of your Desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?

If your version of MacOS is Ventura (13.2.1), then the error you are seeing is caused by an update on the 13th of July, many people are seeing the exact same error, if you are unable to upgrade your MacOS to a newer compatible version, your Office apps will go into Read Only mode, on the link below the full details on that update are provided.

If you are unable to upgrade your Mac OS to a more up to date version, the last version of Office that will work on MacOS Ventura is 16.101, that is available on the long table on this link to all the downloadable versions from the Microsoft servers.

You will first need to completely uninstall the Office apps using the steps they provide on this link.
