Without giving me any renewal option my certification got expired. May I know the reason?

which exact certification are you referring to?

Sometimes a certification is retired which means there is no renewal option.

It could be the notification email wasn't sent or you didn't receive the email.

For role-based, specialty, associate, and expert Microsoft Certifications, renewal is only available before the certification expires. The renewal window is 180 days before the expiration date, and it cannot be extended or reopened.

If the certification already expired, the renewal option is no longer shown. In that case, the certification must be earned again by passing the required exam(s).

Fundamentals certifications are different because they do not expire and do not require renewal.
