Windows Security credentials password retrieval when forgotten

I am trying to establish a new remote desktop connection and it is asking for the windows security password and I do not know how to retrieve or reset that.

This would typically be the same username and password you use to log in locally to the computer you are trying to access via Remote Desktop. Note that, by default, this account should have administrative privileges on that computer
