a vcenter management server offline and consume storage

There is a VM in my Azure VMWare, named "TNT59-VCENTER_upgrade_backup" , it is consuming about 2.5TB of data on disk. I don;t have access to delete so what can i do ? looks like it support engineer left it on my AVS and did not delete last time ?

Posting here is a correct move. You are receiving Priority Community Support (CPS), which means a Microsoft external staff moderator is able to create a support request on your behalf.

Normally, if this is something that a support engineer has created, or you have no permissions to delete it and you are the only administrator on your tenant, then reaching out and creating a support request would be the recommended approach. However, with your support plan, it requires you to post in the community.

You can go back to your support request history through the help and support blade here: https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Support/HelpAndSupportBlade

You can click onto the request to open the request details. You may be able to re-open the support request and ask the engineer if they can remove the v-centre.

Based on the information provided, the VM “TNT59-VCENTER_upgrade_backup” appears to be a leftover backup or temporary VM, and it is currently consuming a large amount of storage. Since you do not have the required permissions to delete it, we do not recommend attempting to remove the VM files directly from the datastore, as this may cause an unsupported or inconsistent state.

In Azure VMware Solution, customers are provided with CloudAdmin access for workload management, but some management components and platform-level resources are managed by Microsoft. Because this VM may have been created during a previous Microsoft support activity, it should be validated by Microsoft support before any cleanup or deletion is performed.

To help with further review, please share the following non-sensitive details:

Whether the VM is powered off or offline

Whether the delete option is unavailable or blocked in vCenter

The Azure VMware Solution private cloud region

The previous support request number, if available

Please check the private message and share the requested information for further investigation.
