Microsoft 365 Copilot iOS app — Graph read tools absent from tool manifest, write tools present. Cannot read Outlook data.
In the standalone Microsoft 365 Copilot app on iOS, the session tool manifest exposes Microsoft Graph write/action tools (respond to meeting invitations, scheduling polls, mark mail read/unread) but no Graph read tools (list calendar events, read inbox, search Teams, search SharePoint/OneDrive, query profile). Prompting for calendar contents returns a statement that no calendar-reading tool is available in the session.
The same account works correctly in Copilot within Outlook for iOS on the same device, in the Copilot app on Android, and in the Copilot desktop app. Work IQ grounding is enabled in the failing session, confirmed by the presence of write tools. Full sign-out plus app delete and reinstall did not change the manifest.
Reproducible on demand. The failure is isolated to the standalone iOS client, which rules out account, license, tenant configuration, device, and local app state. Requesting root cause and resolution timeline for Graph read tool provisioning on this client.
That's ~160 words and fits most portal description fields. If the form has a hard character limit, cut the third paragraph's first two sentences — the cross-client comparison in paragraph two is the load-bearing detail.
