Open tabs from previous session is gone why?

Did Microsoft delete the option for "open tabs from previous session" setting? It's no longer there and all my open tabs are can't be accessed anymore. I have no idea what Microsoft is doing anymore.

Could you please let me know how you previously accessed this option? When you go to Settings > Start, home, and new tabs, do you no longer see the Open tabs from the previous session option shown in the screenshot?

If possible, please share a screenshot of what appears on that settings page, along with your Microsoft Edge version. You can find the version under Settings > About Microsoft Edge.

Yes I found that. But for some reason it was not clicked on. I found out that my tab session was deleted from my History for some reason. I made it to Session and am planning on forcing Edge into using that tab session.

Thanks for confirming. In that case, the option was not removed; it appears that Open tabs from the previous session had simply become deselected. Sorry about this. You can find the previous tabs in your Edge history

The tabs I had open when I shut my PC off had all vanished in History. I have been unsuccessful in getting them back.

Unfortunately, if there are no older session files, no entries in the complete history, no synced copy on another device, and no Windows backup or File History copy of the Edge profile, then the lost session probably cannot be recovered.
