Hey, I need some help figuring out what is wrong with my PC.
I have a prebuilt gaming PC that is about 5 months old. Recently I started getting random crashes while playing games mostly and rarely when just using it normally. Usually the game freezes for a second, then either the game crashes, the whole PC freezes, or I get a blue screen and the PC restarts.
My specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i3-12100F
- GPU: Inno3D/InnoVISION RTX 3050 6GB
- RAM: 16GB
- Motherboard: BIOSTAR H610MHC 2.0
- PSU: GameMax GE-600 600W
- Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Things I already tried:
- Reinstalled NVIDIA drivers using DDU
- Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic (no errors)
- Ran OCCT VRAM test (0 errors)
- Ran OCCT Power test (no errors)
- Checked GPU temperatures (around 52°C GPU / 63°C hotspot while playing Roblox)
- Ran sfc /scannow (no integrity violations)
- Ran DISM RestoreHealth (completed successfully)
Event Viewer shows:
- Display 4101
- nvlddmk m errors
Some crash dump results:
- 0x139 KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILUR E
- 0x13A
- 0x7E SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
- 0x133 DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATIO N
One of the errors was:
LiveKernelEvent 141
LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sy s_Ampere_3D
It seems like it might be GPU-related, but I'm not sure.
Could this be a faulty RTX 3050, motherboard/PCIe issue, PSU problem, or something else? I wanna fix this problem
(I used chatgpt to fix this problem but coulndt figure out the solution and im also not an expert on pcs so please help)
