Hello,

I am writing to ask about the payment option applied to my upgraded Microsoft 365 Office Plan effective July 2026 - July 2027, which was offered at a 50% discount.

I was surprised to see a one-time charge of CAD $135.45 on my credit card statement, as I am unable to pay this amount all at once. I am requesting that this charge be reversed and that my billing be charged to the monthly CAD $11.30 payment option.

Separately, Microsoft already charged me CAD $12.80 for July 2026 under my previous plan. Please also refund this July charge.

Please confirm once both refunds have been processed and my account has been set to monthly billing going forward. I understand that the monthly charges for July and August under the new plan should be charged to my credit card.

I would appreciate your urgent response.

Respectfully,

Carolina Martin

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

For duplicate purchases, kindly reach out to Microsoft Billing Support for further assistance:

    https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=S.HP.SmcContactUsLanding

Type "Billing Issue" > click "Get Help" > Scroll down to Sign in to Contact Support > Select "Contact Support" > Microsoft 365 and Office > "Billing and Payment Updates" > Confirm > Chat with a support agent in your web browser

However, if the subscription renewal charge came from a third-party retailer such as Apple (App Store), Amazon, or Google Play, you will need to contact their Support to cancel the subscription and review their refund policies, as stated in this article: https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/manage-your-microsoft-365-subscription-purchased-through-a-third-party

Microsoft Support will not be able to manage the subscriptions that were purchased from 3rd party retailers.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
