How do I find my MS Teams ID to share with an new employer who is requesting it for onboarding?

Hello.

I am trying to find my MS Teams ID to provide to a new employer for onboarding for a remote postion and there are options in the instrutions to find it that don't appear on the pull-down menu that I am instructed to click on. I have no idea what this ID looks like and the Googled instructions state that I can find this ID even though I am working off of the free version of MS teams. I'm coming up on the deadline of being able to provide this information to my perspective empoyer and don't want this to become a barrier to taking a postion that it has taken almost three years for me to find. Can someone PLEASE help me find this information so that I have it for my new employer. I've spent an entire weekend searching for it and would like to have have it, or some resonable explanation as to why its not avaialable to share (i.e. security reasons or a change in process). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The Teams ID have various meanings depending on the case, so the first step is to determine exactly what your employer is looking for. There is no such thing as the Teams ID that is normally shown on the free version of Microsoft Teams.

Since you have free version your email address (the most probable one) taht you can provide.

The other one is called Microsoft Teams User ID (GUID) A long combination of characters and numbers (e.g., 12345678-abcd-1234-efgh-1234567890ab). However, this ID cannot be viewed on the free version.
