How to remove Microsoft News from startup on edge

I am annoyed by the liberal bent of MSN on startup on Edge. How do I delete it?

    If you're referring to the MSN news feed that appears when you open a new tab or start Microsoft Edge, you can turn it off by following the steps below:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. Open a New Tab.
    3. Make sure New look is toggle off
    4. Click the gear Page settings icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
    5. Under Content (or Show content, depending on your Edge version), toggle Show content to Off.
