Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered the same File History issue after updating to Windows 11 KB5101684?

I've confirmed the following:

The backup drive (D:) is properly connected.
File History is enabled.
The File History Service is running and functioning correctly.
The backup location is set to the D: drive.
However, in "Restore Personal Files", the new version date of today's modification was not visible, and the previous versions of my Word documents and images did not show the modification date of today.

Modified files and images are indeed backed up to: D:\FileHistory\user\LAPTOP-GJTRIQFJ\Data\C\Users\user In my case, after clicking "Execute Now," the backup time remains at 2026/7/28 and doesn't update to that date. I have to specify the same backup drive again for a new backup version to be created and for the backup to proceed.

Since this issue only started after installing KB5101684 and didn't occur before the update (I haven't changed any settings), I'd like to know if any other users have encountered the same problem.

If anyone is experiencing the same issue, please share your situation and check your file history to see if it's related to the same update. Thank you.

We also hope that if this issue is indeed related to KB5101684, Microsoft will fix it in the August security update, restoring file history functionality. Thank you.

Since your backup drive is connected, File History is enabled, and the required service is running normally, there are currently no obvious configuration issues indicated by the information provided. As a temporary workaround, you may wish to periodically verify that updated files are appearing in the FileHistory folder and reselect the existing backup drive if a new backup version is not created automatically. I have checked and the files and pictures have been successfully backed up to the D drive. You can submit my issue to the feedback center because my laptop's feedback center login process is very slow due to an account login error.

I hope this matter can be resolved in August, otherwise I'll be very troubled.
