I got a new Windows 11 computer yesterday and my touch screen monitor worked fine. Today the touch screen is not working. Any suggestions? Thanks

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with this. Could you please provide the following information?

  • The exact make and model of the computer and touchscreen monitor.
  • Whether the problem began after restarting the computer or installing a Windows update.
  • In Device Manager > Human Interface Devices, does an HID-compliant touchscreen appear? If so, does it show a warning symbol or indicate that it is disabled?

If this is an external touchscreen monitor, please also confirm that its USB upstream/data cable is connected directly to the computer, since HDMI or DisplayPort alone normally carries the picture but not the touch input.

Once I have this information, I will be able to provide more specific guidance.
