Word 2010: Captions issue

I am using Word 2010. When I add captions (I always use Reference/Insert Caption), captions are created in a text box instead. Objects are in-line text wrapped too. But still the captions are created in text boxes. How do I resolve it?

I found the solution. I just had to modify the style for the caption; need to remove the Frame and it will insert the caption fine.

As you have found, the built-in Caption style has quite a lot of unnecessary predefined formatting. Normally, you would see border formatting rather than a text frame, though.

I thought the same and checked the border. But there was no border defined in the style. And when I checked the frame and removed it, the caption appears fine and normal.
