Restore - Edge Saved Passwords

Where in the Edge Browser data can I restore from?

I have a user who has lost Edge passwords, checking the cache folders in Edge I cannot see these are missing but they seem to have been cleared.

Is there any way to recover them without going the the backups of the profile which I don't think will work.

    Hello,

    The quickest way to check is to open

    edge://settings/autofill/passwords.

    If the passwords appear there, they still exist in the local DPAPI‑encrypted database or in cloud sync.

    If nothing appears there, the Login Data file has been cleared or cannot be decrypted, and recovery is not possible.
