Internal microphone not detected and Bluetooth headset microphone connects as audio only on Acer Aspire A515-57 (Windows 11)

I am using an Acer Aspire A515-57 running Windows 11. Recently, my laptop stopped detecting any microphone input.
Issues observed:
- The built-in microphone is not working.
- In the Recording tab, the microphone shows "Microphone (Realtek(R) Audio) - Not plugged in."
- In Device Manager, there is no microphone listed under Audio inputs and outputs (only speakers and headphones are shown).
- My Bluetooth earbuds (realme Buds T310) connect successfully for audio playback, but Windows only shows "Connected audio" and does not detect the headset microphone.
- During online proctored assessments, the microphone is not detected, preventing me from taking the test.
- Microphone permissions are enabled for Windows and all apps, and restarting the laptop has not resolved the issue.
I have not uninstalled any drivers because I want to avoid causing further issues. I would appreciate guidance on safely restoring the microphone functionality or identifying whether this is a driver, Windows, or hardware-related problem.

It looks like there was an update on July 11, I think that is when it happened for me, timing is right.
Also no internal microphone even detected.
There is a broken sound driver Intel Smart Sound Technology OED on mine. Device status shows error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). FW dump detected." Would this be the microphone problem?
Windows will not let me roll back any drivers or updates.
When I try to update this Intel driver, it goes around in a circle and never changes, downloads the same broken driver.
Windows is also blocking me from saving any drivers downloaded from the Acer website to the correct folders because it thinks I am not signed in as admin when I am.
