I understand that PowerPoint crashes when you try to open a presentation. To help identify whether the issue is related to a specific file, Office installation, storage location, or system configuration, could you please provide a bit more information?

1. Does the issue occur with one specific presentation, or with all PowerPoint files?
2. Where is the presentation stored (local drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, network location, etc.)?
3. Does PowerPoint crash immediately when opening the file, or only after you click Enable Editing?
4. Do you receive a"Repair Now" prompt or any error message? If so, please share a screenshot or the exact wording.
5. Have you tried opening the same presentation on another device or with another user account? If yes, does it open successfully there?
6. What version of Windows are you using? Also, were any Office or Windows updates installed shortly before the issue started?

In the meantime, please try repairing your Office installation:

1. Right-click the Start button and select Installed apps.
2. Locate Microsoft 365 or your Office installation.
3. Click the three-dot menu (...) next to it and select Modify.
4. If prompted by User Account Control, select Yes.
5. Choose Online Repair and follow the on-screen instructions.

The results of these checks will help determine whether the problem is related to the presentation itself, Office installation files, or another environmental factor.
