Where can I purchase Office 2021 Pro Plus

I have a client that requires a permanent version of Publisher, but I understand that this is only available in Office 2021 Pro Plus. Her company has been using a version of the above for many years; however, the license was attached to the purchase of Laptop at the time and not transferable to any new device she may have upgraded to. She does not want to learn a new product, which is her prerogative, so I need to purchase the above version for her new PC. Microsoft does not make it easy to find the product and all links labelled for the purpose of downloading/purchasing that version of Publisher takes the user to the subscription version of Microsoft 365. She already has a business License for 365, and no matter how hard we try to get people to listen to her request, it invariably fails and we get asked to buy 365.

Can someone please help me with how I can locate/purchase/download Office 2021 Pro Plus even if it is for the purpose of Publisher only.

I have reset one of the client's older Laptops and discovered that Publisher came back as well as the older versions of Office, my dilemma is now to get a valid license key as the four that I have do not match that particular computer.

If none of your four keys match, there is a good chance the installation was activated using a different key or licensing channel. In that case, the original reseller is the best source for determining whether a valid replacement license exists or whether a new license must be purchased.

Since the laptop was reset and the installed copy of Office** Professional Plus **2021 is requesting activation, you'll need a valid license that is associated with that installation. If the original license was supplied with the device, it may have been tied to that specific hardware and may not be transferable to another PC. The original reseller or supplier may be able to confirm the licensing details and whether any product key or digital entitlement was included with the purchase. Microsoft also provides guidance for pre-installed corporate Office products in Reinstall Office in your Office Pre-installed PC (for corporate)

If no valid license can be located, a new license will need to be obtained through Microsoft's authorized licensing channels. Unfortunately, neither Microsoft Q&A moderators nor community members can provide replacement product keys.

For an individual user or a small business that requires a one-time purchase for a single Windows PC, you may look for Office Professional 2021 through Microsoft or an authorized Microsoft reseller.

Please note that Office Professional 2021 is the retail product you should ask for. Office Professional Plus 2021, on the other hand, is generally intended for organizations through commercial or volume-licensing agreements and is not normally offered as a standard retail product for individual purchase.

Before completing your purchase, I strongly recommend asking the seller to confirm in writing that:

Microsoft Publisher is included in the product.

The license is genuine and authorized.

The license has not been used previously and can be successfully activated on your new PC.

The license type is suitable for your intended personal or business use.

Please be cautious of inexpensive third-party listings that advertise “lifetime” Office Professional Plus keys. Such keys may be unauthorized volume-license keys, previously used product keys, or licenses that could later be deactivated or blocked.

Thank you for the response according to Microsoft articles that I have read, Publisher is not available for the Home/Retail version but is in the Business version. We are fully aware of the end-of-life support, but the client needs the product to continue utilising the files she has created over the years. Further, as mentioned above, I could not find a link that actually gets me to the purchase page as the ones that I have followed redirect to MS 365 products and not the Pro Plus option. Very annoying when you ask specifically for a product and get re-directed. Thanks for the reply, hopefully I can find a solution for her.

Office Professional Plus 2021 is generally not sold through Microsoft's standard retail channels, which is why you may be having difficulty locating a direct purchase page. It is primarily a volume-licensing product intended for organizations.

If your client requires a perpetual version of Microsoft Publisher, you may wish to contact a Microsoft-authorized reseller or licensing partner and inquire about Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021, which includes Publisher and is designed for organizations that require a non-subscription release of Office.

Alternatively, if available in your region, an authorized reseller may still offer Office Professional 2021, which also includes Publisher.

Before purchasing, I recommend confirming with the reseller that:

Microsoft Publisher is included in the edition being sold.

The license is genuine and eligible for activation.

The license type meets your client's business requirements.

I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, I don't have any additional sources that I can recommend beyond checking with authorized Microsoft partners and resellers.

Given how close Office 2021 is to end of support, finding legitimate new stock can be quite challenging, especially for products that were not typically sold through standard retail channels. I hope Lenovo is able to identify an available source for you through their supplier network.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help in this case, but I appreciate you sharing your experience. If you do manage to find a legitimate supplier in Australia, it may be helpful to post an update here for others who could run into the same situation.
