PDF documents are now taking a very long time to load in Edge

Hello,

Starting around June I noticed PDF documents take far longer than they use to open.
I am opening single page documents with little information on them, one took almost 45 seconds to open up in Edge.

The resources were not being used up in Task Manager, there was no process freezing.
Why is this so much slower than it was? How can we speed it up to a reasonable loading time like it use to be until last month?

I'm also curious why there's an adobe watermark advertisement when I do not have any adobe extensions or any software from that malicious company?

    It is worth noting that Microsoft implemented Adobe Acrobat for PDF viewing in Microsoft Edge and other Windows products.

    If the slowness occurs only in Edge, try downloading and reinstalling it to fix potential issues:
