Hello Joe Comeau,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A and thank you for posting your questions here.
I understand that your Update progress -12.2511.1002.502 update failed.
Since the update remains blocked and your existing support ticket has not yet provided a resolution.
The update failure is caused by the UpdatePrerequisites validation check detecting unsupported or unmanaged Azure CLI extensions on the Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI node. When the AzStackHci_ARBStack_AzCLIKnownIncompatibleExtensions check fails, this is an intentionally blocks of the solution update to prevent upgrade failures caused by incompatible Azure CLI dependencies. - https://github.com/Azure/AzureLocal-Supportability/blob/main/tools/CSSTools/1.2607.16.2249/remediations/RemoveIncompatibleAzCliExtensions.md, https://github.com/Azure/AzureLocal-Supportability/blob/main/TSG/Update/UpdatePrerequisites-Failure-Remove-Incompatible-Extensions.md
What you can do is to identify and remove all unsupported Azure CLI extensions, update Azure CLI to a supported version, and rerun the update readiness validation. Once the incompatible extensions are removed, the prerequisite check should pass and the solution update can proceed. Microsoft also notes that supported extensions are automatically restored by the update workflow when necessary. - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/azure-cli-extensions-overview?view=azure-cli-latest
