Hi Szilvia,

I understand that you cannot install or connect Claude to Outlook with your Microsoft 365 Family subscription.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access your account or change Claude’s installation eligibility.

There are two different Claude integrations:

  1. Microsoft 365 connector in Claude: This requires a work or school Microsoft account connected to a Microsoft Entra organization. A personal Microsoft account used with Microsoft 365 Family, including Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, or Live.com, is not supported. See Microsoft 365 connector requirements.
  2. Claude for Outlook add-in: This is a separate Anthropic add-in and requires an eligible Claude subscription. Its availability can also depend on the Outlook version being used.

Could you confirm which option you are trying to install, your Claude plan, your Outlook version and platform, and the exact message displayed? Please remove any email address or other personal information before posting a screenshot.

Since Claude is a third-party product, its current eligibility and installation requirements are maintained by Anthropic. You may also check Claude Support for account-specific assistance.

I hope this clarifies why the Microsoft 365 Family subscription may not be sufficient for this connection.
