Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
For paid Professional Support in Engage Center, purchase must be done with a Microsoft account (MSA)/personal account, not a Microsoft Entra ID account.
For this scenario, use this path:
- Sign out of the Entra ID account.
- Sign in with a Microsoft account (MSA)/personal account.
- In Engage Center, select Add / Purchase Plan.
- If the personal account shows as a guested personal account and access issues appear, select Sign in to Microsoft's tenant for Personal Users.
- Select Add / Purchase Plan again.
- Select the Country and review the available support plans.
What the current messages mean:
- “You are currently signed in using a Microsoft Entra ID account...” means paid Professional Support cannot be purchased while signed in with Entra ID.
- “We were unable to find an eligible support plan associated with your account.” means there is no active eligible support plan linked to that signed-in account, or a plan has not yet been purchased.
- “No support plans are available in your selected country/region.” means no purchasable support plans are currently offered for the selected country/region in that purchase flow.
Supported facts from the documentation:
- Paid Professional Support plans are not available when signed in with a Microsoft Entra ID account.
- The 5-pack option is not available in all countries/regions.
- Availability of support plans depends on the selected country/region.
Since the country/region is India and Engage Center is showing “No support plans are available in your selected country/region”, there is no documented self-service workaround in the provided material to force purchase for that region. The only supported actions in the documentation are:
- switch from Entra ID to an MSA/personal account,
- if needed, sign in to Microsoft’s tenant for Personal Users,
- then check Add / Purchase Plan for the selected country.
If the goal is support for the Hardware Program / Hardware Dev Center, there are two documented support paths instead of relying on a purchased plan in this flow:
- Open a case directly with program support via Microsoft Engage Center using a Partner Center account enrolled in the Hardware Program.
- If sign-in with the enrolled Hardware Program account is not possible, use Partner Center support.
