Missing prompt for device sign-in for website passwords

Hi CommuniKate Design,

I understand how confusing it feels to not see an option that supposed to be there. It's correct that prompting for the device sign-in options before viewing or filling website password can be enabled from Microsoft Password Manager, but there's a few things that can affect its visibility. Please check following the process below:

• Open Windows Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options
• Make sure at least one Windows Hello method is configured.
• Open Edge > go to edge://settings/autofill/passwords/settings
• Confirm that Autofill passwords and passkeys is toggled ON.
• If it's already on, try turning it OFF > restart Edge and turn on again.
• Check whether the Prompt for the device sign-in... option now appears.

If you still don't see the option, one thing to add is that this feature is still being updated. The rollout has been gradual, and its availability may depend on Edge version and whether it has reached your device yet. Still in Settings, you can check About Microsoft Edge section to see the browser version and apply updates if any.
