Hello,

I have a free monthly Azure credit benefit, but I am unable to see or use the credits in my Azure subscription. Could someone please advise on how to verify the credit status and resolve this issue?

Thank you.

To verify and troubleshoot monthly Azure credits for a Visual Studio subscription:

    1. Sign in with the correct account.
      • The credits must be activated by using the email associated with the Visual Studio subscription, or the alternate account configured for that subscription.
      • If the wrong account is used, the credit benefit might not appear.
    2. Check the Azure portal subscription association.
      • In the Azure portal, go to Subscriptions and confirm that the eligible subscription offer is associated with the account.
      • If needed, use Subscriptions > + Add and select the correct eligible offer.
    3. Verify the directory/tenant.
      • If the account is associated with a different Microsoft Entra tenant than expected, the subscription or credits might not be visible.
      • Switch to the correct directory in the Azure portal and check Subscriptions again.
    4. Check billing and credit visibility.
      • In the Azure portal, open Cost Management + Billing.
      • Review Cost analysis, Budgets, or the subscription billing scope to confirm whether the credit balance and usage are visible.
    5. If the credits still do not appear, allow for provisioning delay.
      • In some Azure credit scenarios, credits can take time to appear after activation.
    6. If the issue continues, submit an Azure support request.
      • Azure subscription-related questions can be handled by submitting a support request.

If the Visual Studio monthly credit benefit itself cannot be activated, also verify that the sign-in account in the Visual Studio subscription benefits portal is the correct one.
