Hi there!
If your Microsoft account shows that you have over 1 TB of available storage, but OneDrive says you're out of space and OneNote won't sync, this is usually caused by either a storage quota mismatch or an issue with the OneDrive client rather than your actual available storage.
Are you using a Windows 11 device for syncing your OneNote?
In the meantime, since you've already cleared both the OneDrive and OneNote caches and reconnected OneDrive, here are a few additional things to try:
- Verify your storage online
- Sign in to https://onedrive.live.com using the same Microsoft account.
- Check whether OneDrive on the web also reports that you're out of storage, or if it shows your available space correctly.
- Confirm your Microsoft 365 subscription is active
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and make sure your Microsoft 365 subscription is active and hasn't expired.
- Reset the OneDrive client
- Press Win + R, then run: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe /reset
- Wait a minute or two. If OneDrive doesn't restart automatically, run: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe More details here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/reset-onedrive
- Try uploading a small file using OneDrive on the web
- If the web version also reports that you're out of storage despite showing plenty of available space, this points to an issue with the storage quota associated with your account rather than the desktop app.
Additionally, I suggest checking if the email address you are using is correct or the same email address where your 1TB storage is associated. Sometimes, the OneDrive app on a Windows device uses a different email address that you might have so switching accounts might help.
