Azure Static Web Apps preview environments can't be reached

We've noticed on July 20th that none of our preview environment endpoints are working. Neither the ones that existed before that date and were working nor the ones that were created yesterday and today.

Our production endpoint continues to work though.

Requests to *-<pr-number>.westus2.5.azurestaticapps.net fail while requests to our production *.5.azurestaticapps.net are ok.
We've tested generating a PR with the same code that is on production environment and that also does not work.

As there was no infrastructure changes and the issue doesn't point to a code change I'm wondering how can we get this solved as the QA process depends on it.

I am glad! your issue is resolved.

A broader West US networking incident occurred on 23 July 2026 (roughly 14:44–19:41 UTC). A bug in automated network-maintenance tooling incorrectly removed IP routes, affecting connectivity into/out of the region. Microsoft published a preliminary PIR for that event (Tracking ID ZJV6-SGG).Your original report started earlier (around 20–21 July) and was isolated to preview environments, the timing of recovery could overlap with residual cleanup or related infrastructure work.
