I got my computer Windows 10 about 5 years ago. I wanted dark mode but I wasn't sure how to put it on my computer, and so I made the mistake of downloading dark mode from a website and ever since that when ever I open a tab or any other websites or school apps its difficult for me to see the information or when I am typing. A year later I figured out that I couldn't of just change to dark screen through settings and so now I am able to change either to dark or light mode but it only modes for like apps in my computer, settings, etc, but still when I open a new tab its still dark mode. How can I solve this problem?
Thank you!

I see. If the issue is only showing on webpages, you can turn off dark mode through this setting in edge://flags. See the image below for reference
Yes, dark mode is applied to websites and when I open apps too for example on the web when I search up Canva or google docs the background is black and when I type something into google docs my words are black basically everything is black. I tried changing edge setting then appearance and overall appearance to light but when I did it change only certain things but once I clicked opened something else it went back to dark mode.
Hi,
Just to clarify, is Dark Mode applied only to websites, or is the entire Edge browser using Dark Mode? What happens if you change Edge Settings > Appearance > Overall appearance to Light? Also, on the same page, set Page colors to Off and check if that makes any difference.
